Yet Another Zombie Survivors 1.0.1 Patch Guide

Yet Another Zombie Survivors 1.0.1 patch guide details the mission pity system, eased requirements for Ranger, SWAT and Ghost, and item synergy adjustments.

By YAZS Wiki · sources reviewed2026-10-09

Patch 1.0.1 lets you attempt Ranger's Seeding on any difficulty, lowers the listed SWAT and Ghost SOS objectives, and adds bad-luck protection for mission items. If an older objective is blocking you, check the updated Mission Log before repeating the same run. Later completion-state fixes are covered in 1.0.1a and 1.0.1b.

Mission changes you can use

  • Seeding no longer requires difficulty II+.
  • SWAT's repeatable rescue objective changes from six liberations to five; Ghost's Compilation changes from five to three.
  • A roll missing the item required by the current mission increases its later appearance chance. This is bad-luck protection, not an immediate item guarantee.
  • Main Story missions are offered more often in the Camp.

Use the mission troubleshooting guide to distinguish a missing offer, a prerequisite and a completion-state problem. Do not replace a specific objective with an unrelated difficulty grind.

Changes worth checking in a build

Ranger's Good Boy: Retriever now collects Endurance Elite Boss tags, and Repeater Crossbow and Flarebolt can fire bolts separately. The update also fixes Animal Whistle: Panic triggering. These are useful checks for the Ranger squad route.

Power Leveling now requires level 60 rather than 100. If you are doing this Torment, use the revised goal instead of extending the run for an old target. See the Torments guide.

Version history and sources

This is the September 9 update. It includes fixes for Bio Lab enemies missing weapon damage, Medical Drone damage and the Bio Lab boss transition. The Select Area freeze, Ice Turret damage-type registration and German Taser text belong to earlier hotfix records, not this update.

The official 1.0.1 announcement is the source for these changes. Reviewed October 9, 2026; the stable version tracked by this site is 1.0.1b. Check your installed platform version before applying a patch-specific step.
